Management Team
Compiled Logic, also known as C:LOGIC, has assembled an experienced leadership team whose mission is to assimilate and deliver complementary skills for the benefit of our clients and strategic partners. We have the collective talent and industry knowledge to effectively develop software and solutions, manage large-scale multi-dimensional projects, market products and services, and work closely and collaboratively with all of our stakeholders in various regions of the United States.
Leadership Team
Larry Estes
Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder
Larry brings more than 23 years of business and entrepreneurial experience to C:LOGIC and our clients. Five years of Larry’s career have been focused within the C:LOGIC start-up environment, for which he provides specific expertise in the areas of project management and client service for the government sector. In addition, he spent 12 years of his career in bank operations, during which he gained experience as a chief information officer.
Prior to co-founding C:LOGIC in 2004, Larry served as senior manager with Noblestar Systems, a Virginia-based professional services firm. He previously was the first chief information officer and a member of the board of directors for Southern National Bank and vice president at First Interstate Bank of Texas, which is now a unit of Wells Fargo Bank.
Larry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and economics from Drexel University.
DaWane Wanek
Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President
DaWane Wanek joined C:LOGIC in 2007. He brings more than 20 years of successful leadership experience in information technology sales and marketing, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 1000 companies.
DaWane joined C:LOGIC from Dell, Inc. where he was a director in the Advanced Systems Group. He previously held executive positions with RLX Technologies (which was acquired by Hewlett-Packard) and Scalable Software, Inc.. DaWane also held a variety of sales and sales management roles with BMC Software and Data General Corporation.
Ron Smith
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Ron Smith joined C:LOGIC in 2007. He has more than 21 years of industry experience with a specialty in launching and marketing of commercial software products.
Before joining C:LOGIC, Ron was the director of marketing at Configuresoft and vice president of marketing at Scalable Software, Inc. Ron previously held various product marketing and management roles at Akili Systems, Rockwell and Lockheed Martin.
Ron graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University and holds a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from The University of Houston.
Keith Raterink
Vice President, Technology
Keith brings over 20 years of industry experience,
including extensive background in software engineering
and a proven track-record of building and shipping
commercial software products.
Before joining C:LOGIC, Keith was the vice president of
Engineering for Scalable Software, Inc. He previously
held a variety of software development positions with
McDonnell Douglas and Rockwell.
Keith graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the
University of Michigan.
Ken Lancaster
Vice President, Product Management &
Services
Ken brings over 20 years of industry experience including an extensive background in software engineering, project management, process development, operations and product management. Before joining C:LOGIC, Ken was a product manager for BEA. Previously, he was the director of Application Operations for XOR, Inc. and software development manager for Global Commerce Systems, a provider of Web-enabled solutions for Fortune 1000 companies.
Ken graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University.

To support and supplement our leadership team, C:LOGIC also has recruited an elite group of advisors that is comprised of
industry experts, entrepreneurs, former elected officials and chiefs of police.
S. Page Porter
Page Porter is the CEO and majority shareholder of A Tow, Inc., the largest towing and recovery service in the Southeast. Page is a member of the Tow & Recovery Association of Georgia (TRAG)
and currently sits on the
Legislative Committee. Prior to that, she served two
terms as the Secretary. Page provides C:LOGIC expert advice and subject matter expertise from her 20+ years in the towing & storage business and is instrumental in development of advanced service offerings in addition to securing partnerships with the industry, state and local government and law enforcement.
Brown Group International
Brown Group International (BGI) has been solving problems for governments, corporations and individuals globally since its inception. The firm is lead by Dr. Lee Brown, whose public service experience includes National Drug Czar, Mayor and Police Chief in Houston, Texas and Police Commissioner of the New York City Police Department. BGI provides C:LOGIC subject matter experience from his decades of serving the public.
Richard Scruggs
Richard Scruggs is an entrepreneur and director of the Texas A&M Center for New Ventures & Entrepreneurship
Richard Scruggs has extensive experience in creating and building new business ventures. Currently, Richard is a principal with Winston Sage Partners. He was the founder, chief executive officer and chairman of Align Solutions Corp. After Luminant Worldwide acquired Align, Richard helped take the professional services firm public.
